Somehow this third wedding was the hardest for me. My youngest daughter getting married felt like a hole opening up somewhere deep within me. She was leaving me. On a walk, years ago, I heard God say to me, “man does not live by expectations alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God”.
